These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along.
Nothing new and/or exciting to post about today. Really, I am that boring, so I will not keep you glued to your seats with my rant about Saved by the Bell.
Saved by the Bell has ZERO continuity in it. As far as I know, they have only ever attempted ONE to be continued episode. The best part about that? They didn't even continue it the next week. Nope, they had a showing IN BETWEEN the two parts of something that was completely unreleated. I understand that sometimes series get shown out of production order (it happens all the time, most of the time it isn't a big deal but sometimes it changes the tone of the show. Look at Clerks: The Animated Series. The bets joke in the second show was that they were doing a clip show from the first show. The problem?? They showed the second show FIRST on broadcast TV.)
Anyway, Zack and Kelly break up so that Kelly can date her boss Jeff (hmmm, anyone else seeing problems with this?) They break up at the Costume Dance (where Zack Attack is playing, a band that we have never heard of and I don't think ever reappear in the series, but I could be wrong with that.) They pop up the To Be Continued ... no problem. The next show? Zack and the gang get summer jobs at the beach club. Yeah, there was no continuity problem there.
Far be it for me to complain to much about Saved by the Bell, though. I still love the show, complete with its overacting, bad acting, stupid situations and all. Bring on more of my childhood. Knight Rider on DVD is a treat as well.

Oh, look, a ring!
And my hat is in it!
Yes, continuity problems run rampant throughout the show, as do many inaccuracies. But that does not rule it out as the most addictive show on TV. The Zack Attack did have their Casey Kasem episode too.
Come to think of it, Casey Kasem was on two episodes as well. Was he just hanging around the set all the time? Scott Wolf, too. What an extra.
Zack Attack was probably the best thing ever added to the show. My other favorite "star search moment from the show...When Lisa, Kelly and Jessie had a try out at the max. And Jessie started taking the elicit drug CAFFEINE!!!! Ohhh the memories. Also, how come everytime the gang goes on vacation for a wedding, slater always finds a hot foreign chick (Jessie's Father's wedding) or someone hot chick mixed up with the mob (SBTB: Vegas Wedding) and screech always winds up hanging out with lisa? Ok back to work.
Ah, more SBTB. Though I mock, I love it. Okay, the Zack Attack and Casey Kasem epidode - favorite part: when the band has broken up and all of the "gang" has other jobs - Zack is a Vanilla Ice-looking guy (yeah, early 90s!), Slater is a race-car driver, Screeh is a supergeek, Kelly is a nun on "Santa Barbara" and Lisa is an American Gladiator!! Love the tie-in to that show. Wish it still came on Saturdays mornings so I could watch Laser and Turbo picking on guys that were literally half their size. Oh, and remember Siren, the deaf one? Have taken this in a totally different direction now . . .
How come no one talks about the last SBTB series that came on? The one back in High School with a whole new cast except for Mr. Belding and Screech? I heard that that was a pretty sweet show...
SbtB The New Class!! HEATHEN!
Seriously, it was pretty bad. Belding and Screech does not SbtB make. Without Zack, Slater, et. al. the show is nothing. Yes, not even I will by The New Class.
