Again, damn meetings

The Daily Show - 6/26 - Lots of war on terror talk and how the current administration would rather keep us in the dark instead of letting us know what is going on,  Sorry, Democracies aren't supposed to work that way.  Lance Armstrong is the guest, and it is true that he is a source of inspiration to a LOT of people.  He was a pretty good guest too.

The Colbert Report - 6/26 - Nice jab at the Republicans about how they treat the less fortunate.  I'd be lying if I said I actually watched this, it was on as background noise while I was working today.

The Daily Show - 6/27 - The Bush Administration is pissed at The New York Times (again) because they disclosed a program that everyone pretty much knew they were doing anyway.  "This administration is literally one step away from yada-yadaing Sept. 11th."  How true.  Report on the Pink Taco scandal in Arizona.  Helen Thomas is the special guest, she's pretty good actually.

The Colbert Report - 6/27 -  Didn't catch The Word (again, I'm trying to do SOME work here :))  Movies that are corrupting America was okay.  But I hate Strangers with Candy.  Stephen, of course, likes it since he's in it (and actually I think he was one of the creators.)  Chris Mathews is the special guest.  He's a blowhard, but said some stuff I agree with.  He might be okay as a person when he doesn't get to control the interview the way he tries to.
