The Sopranos - The Ride - I really liked this episode, especially the scene where Christopher is telling Tony about Adrianna. Also I liked how much fun they had during their "heist" of the wine. I'm still thinking that AJ is going to join the "business" and it's days like this that remind Tony how much he liked it.
Desperate Housewives - I Know Things Now - I'm still just not digging this season at all. I basically don't care about the characters or what happens to them. I only watch it because Lacey watches it. This episode was really pronounced in the "I don't care" department.
Grey's Anatomy - Damage Case - I really liked this episode. George realizes that Meridith was wrong but needs to forgive her anyway. Derek needs to get off his high horse and while I still dislike Grey, she said the right things to him on the stairwell. You feel bad for both the family that was injured and the guy that hit them. Good scene where George realizes that if the Dad can forgive the guy who killed his daughter, he can forgive Meridiith. The Izzy-Danny storyline is getting old.
Conviction - Deliverance - Background noise again, but the little bit of it that I did catch, I liked this time. I think the one woman on trial was really messed up, and liked how she got put away anyway. And the storyline of the guy acting dumb to get his client less of a charge was pretty funny.
The Daily Show - 5/8 - Yet again, a solidly funny show, but I don't remember one thing sticking out as extremely funny. Well, I do like the new "Pole Smokers" segment, that's pretty good.
Commander in Chief - Ties that Bind - Pretty good episode where they look into the rising crime problem in a county in Maryland and what the governor isn't doing to make it better. I like that Mac doesn't back down when she thinks she's right. Not looking good for the show as it was pulled during sweeps week. I hope it gets picked up for a second season, I think they're just starting to show what this show can do.
Music Reviews - Streetlight Manifesto - Keasby Nights - Streetlight Manifesto is a New Jersey ska band that I was turned onto by one of Lace's students. This is pretty good and is a re-recording of Catch 22's album Keasby Nights. Good ska sound, reminds me of Buck-o-Nine (of Twenty-Eight Teeth the most) a bit. It's a pretty good album.
Catch 22 - Dinosaur Sounds - This record is ska, but it's a little bit harder. Again, I liked it, but will need to give it a few more listens before I know if it'll get a lot of time in my player. I know Keasby Nights (above) will be on my iPod right away.
