Sorry guys
Sorry to anyone who reads this blog, I just didn't have it in me to update the last two days. I didn't watch THAT much so you didn't miss much, but I'm going to pick up from today.
dl.tv - Episode 78 - Microsoft is suing people breaking their OEM agreements. The U.S. Government is trying to block online gaming. Some talk of the Core2 and I really like what I'm seeing. I'm either going to build a new computer based on the Core2 which looks really fast for the money, or drop in a really high end AMD processor when the price of them comes WAY down because of the Core2 processors. Some talk about how to quite your computer, with quieter fans and a DB meter.
What's New Now - 7/19/2006 - Biggest story is the the Core2 again, that chip looks really fricken fast. I can't wait to get my own. Oh, I want one of these, reviewed on the show: HERE. Lace thinks it's dumb, but I disagree.
Basic Brewing Video - 7/18/2006 - The guys go to the Homebrew Conference in Orlando Fl. and interview people on Club Night and drink some beer. Looks like a pretty good time.
Basic Brewing Radio - 7/20/2006 - Just like the Video, the guys are at the Homebrewer's Conference, with interviews with a bunch of different guys. The first one is with a guy who makes Chili Beer, with habeneros and other jalopeneo peppers (and I know I butchered the spelling of them, sorry.) Entire list is :Butch Luxemberger and Dave Morgan - Chili beers, Patrick Paine - Braggots, Matt Ruddell - Brewing in Florida, John Peed - Filtering beer, Chris Bible - Temperature in the life of beer, Steve Hamburg - Session beers.
The Daily Show - 7/19 - A great little bit on Net Neutrality, what it is, basically and why Ted Stevens shouldn't be anywhere near a bill talking about it. It was background noise, so I don't remember much of the show.
The Colbert Report - 7/19 - Again background noise and I forgot to write this as I was watching/listening so I forget most of it. Sorry to let you down.
Treasure Hunters - Follow the Drinking Gourd Part 2 - A pretty neat ending, and I can't belive they had to dig for 6.5 hours. Dude, that sucks, and what is with Team Air-Force getting it in 17 mins? Luckiest people ever. Am I the only one who's liking the Miss USA? Other than a bit of complaining about 4 hours into their dig, they pretty much just shut up and do it, not at all what I expected from that team based on first impressions.
Just a side note - I'm going to change the format ever so slightly. Usually I post what I watch the night before and what I watch during the day, but I don't usually post until nighttime anymore. So I'm going to change it up so that the blog will now be reviews from what I watched all day and that night and post before I go to bed. Usually :) You won't notice a difference.
