I haven't gone to bed yet (its really not that late) therefore the day isn't over and this isn't late.

The Daily Show - 8/10 - John Oliver reports about not allowing liquid on planes due to the terrorist threat.  Okay, I'm going to go off on a tangent right here so feel free to stop reading.  I truly believe that the terrorists that were planning on blowing up the plane really didn't care if they blew the plane up or not.  I think they'd be happy if they won, but I think they're just as happy to get caught and then make everyone afraid to travel.  It does the exact same thing for their cause in the long run.  Then some reporting on the fact that Indiana has more "terror targets" than New York, since The Statue of Liberty and The Brooklyn Bridge aren't targets according to the Department of Homeland Security.  Stephen Colbert shows up at The Daily Show and the crowd goes nuts.  Then he puts Jon Stewart "On Notice."  Dale Earnhart Jr. is the special guest.  I don't like racing in general and I really dislike NASCAR, I just don't get it, but it was a pretty good interview.  The Colbert tease was very funny, he was still on the set.

The Colbert Report - 8/10 - Colbert shows all the liquids he really takes on a plan.  The Word is "Cappuccino."  Another Better Know a District. The special guest is one of the guys from MoveOn.org.

Geekdrome - Episode 36 - so I'm a few weeks late.  Dan really liked A Scanner Darkly, and I'd like to see that one of these days.  Not sure what else they talked about I wasn't really paying attention.  I also skipped the ComicConn stuff, because I was over that a long time ago and, yes, this is weeks late, but no.  After the comiccon they talked a lot about Dungeons and Dragons stuff and fantasy books.  Dan is going to play D&D with Alex Albrect, real pen and paper D&D.  Yeah, I'm way geeky, cause I always wanted to try it, but as Dan said, I don't have geeky enough friends to try.

Geekdrome - Episode 37 - Some movie talk, Dan hated Lady in the Water, but he's not a big Shamalamadingdong fan to begin with.  He also had a really good time playing paper & pen D&D.  It was mostly background noise, though. Jon wants to take Alex's seat at the next game.  Good question about when you realized you were a geek.  And a ton of embarrassing experiences, which was really funny.
