Stealing Lace's Title: Don't Hassel the Hoff

dl.tv - Episode 79 - The guys are back after a real problem with connection to the Internet that was preventing them from doing a live show.  Some more talk about quieting a computer.  Then a rather lenghthy review of the new NCAA Football game, which I really didn't care about.  Way to much info about Robert's Mom at the end of the show, too.

TWIT - Episode 63: Hey John - Some good talk about the AMD/ATI possible merger.  YouTube is one of the biggest sites on the net and they don't make any money so know one knows how they're affording their bandwidth.  The Netscape dude who copied Digg is now trying to pay diggers to use his site instead of digg.  Also some talk of the HOPE conference, which stands for Hackers on Planet Earth.

What's New Now - 7/21/2006 - Umm, yeah, so Taang and Vodka is apparently the drink of choice of geeks, at least according to the guys on the podcast.  Also talk about the latest Vista build.  Listened to them talk but mostly news I heard before so nothing really stood out.

Inside the NEt - Episode 29 - This week they talk about online Calendars and what the "Holy Grail" of a calendar would be, which is a calendar that syncs to just about everything you own and you can access it anywhere.  I love my Outlook, without it, I'd never remember to do anything, but I'm not sure I want it to follow me everywhere.

Crankygeeks - Episode 19 - Kevin Rose is one of the guests, and he's always good.  Talk is about network apps, specifically social ones, like Digg and how they scale, if they can.  Also, how they fight spam, which is really interesting.

Craft Beer Radio - Episode 47 - Watermelon Wheat???  Yeah, that doesn't sound good to me, but apparently they both liked it some.  An interesting show, they were a bit all over the place in their reviews.

America's Got Talent - Thank GOD for DVR.  Between the 2 hour try-out and the 1 hour result show, that would be 3 hours of mind-numbing bordem and commercials.  As it is, we watched both in about 1 hour skipping through the crap that doesn't matter, the re-runs of what happened before, and the judges that want to hear themselves talk to much.  Also Lace and I nailed the final 2 again.  The show really isn't that bad but they could really shorten it and it wouldn' tmatter even a little bit.

Ask Kyle Williams about Tang and vodka. He's an expert. (Yes, I'm lurking today.)
