Starting to get a bit annoyed

For some reason, I haven't been able to post at night easily for the past few days.  SO again, another morning post.

The Daily Show - 8/16 - Jason Jones reports from Crawford Texas where Bush was on vacation.  Stewart claims that Bush read The Stranger which is apparently a book about a Westerner who kills an Arab and dies with no remorse.  I've never read it, though, so I can't comment.  Don't you feel safer with CNN having a "Target:USA" watch?  Then a neat little clip of Castro in bed, and Jon saying how impossible it is to doctor a photo, while the photo in the background of Castro in bed reading a magazine, becomes a photo dressed in drag reading a gay magazine.  The special guest is Thomas Kean former governor of NJ who was head of the 9/11 commission.

The Colbert Report - 8/16 - Wow, funniest joke I've heard in a while to start the show, he's going to ask Morgan Spurlok why he doesn't call his show 30 Day, Month.  Okay, I thought it was funny at least,  The interview was okay as well.

The Daily Giz Wiz - 128:8/16 - CoolIT - USB powered beverage chiller.  Yeah, that sounds really weird.

FLOSS - Episode 1 - The new (new as of April, I just haven't listened yet) from the twit guys (a.k.a. Leo) deals with free and open source software.  This is basically an intro podcast to let you know what this will be doing.  The host, Chris DiBona works as Google, which is very cool.

FLOSS - Episode 2 - One of the guys from Firefox is here and they talk about Mozilla and the browser.  Very very cool.  Also, he told us about the Add Keyword for this Search feature of Firefox which might be my new favorite, of all time, thing.

FLOSS - Episode 3 - CmdrTaco of Slashdot is the special guest, and the interview is pretty funny.  Talk about making /. Web 2.0 and stuff.  I'll say one thing about this podcast is that it's just a conversation, which is nice, but damn is the audio quality really good on it.

FLOSS - Episode 4 - Chromatic is the special guest who is an editor at OReily and contributes a lot to the perl project.  Good discussion about Perl 6 and differences between 6 and 5.

FLOSS - Episode 5 - Miquel De Icaza is the special guest, who has a long history in OSS, including the GNOME project.  It might've been a good interview, but it got cut off on my download and I Just didn't go back and download the rest of it, because I'm super lazy.

dl.tv - Episode 86 - Hrmm, Patrick is wearing a pirate style headband.  Wow, weird.  Some good iPod Nano competitors.  I'm not interested because I'd rather have a slightly larger player that held more (ala iPod, where's my 80 gig ipod??)  Also some discussion of how fast the new Mac Pro looks and a few viewer questions.  Plus Robert and Patrick don't know what the name of their show is :)
