John Stewart, my hero

I was watching the Daily Show (from Monday) and I heard the most amazingly honest and smart thing I think I've ever heard.

"Washington is sort of this .. it views the world bicameraly. As though the world is Republicans and Democrats or Liberals and Conservatives. Where the rest of us sit on the outside and just think 'Holy Shit' these can't be the only two options." -- John Stewart

It's a damn shame that the best news show on television is a comedy.

It's Official

It's official. Anyone who knows me knew this day was coming, and many have wondered what has taken so long. Over the holidays, I have finally passed one more milestone on my journey to riduculousness.

I have passed 1,000 DVDs. My 1,000th DVD is the original King Kong which is a pretty cool one for that milestone. Much better than Kronk's New Grove, which was purchased on the same day.

So there you have it. I'm nuts.
